Growing up together in the small blue-collar beach towns of San Diego's North County, @TheGents were in the unique position to live in a world where trouble always had a sunset backdrop. They were influenced by all forms of rock, punk, reggae, world music, and blues. As such, their music spans an eclectic mix of styles and forms. @TheGents bring their hard-working, home-made, and hand-crafted debut "@TheGents" album with songs that vary from happy yet haunting acoustic vibes, experiments in dub, and psychedelic journeys into space. @TheGents consist of Evan Hanyak (Guitar/Bass/Vocals), Green Lyle (Drums/Vocals/Keys), and Xavier Ramirez (Bass/Guitar/Vocals) and consist of equal parts cheap Mexican Lager, Salt Water, and Crowded Freeways. @TheGents have found in themselves a sanctuary producing songs with minimal equipment and maximum effort, all the while representing their hometown ethics and ideals. @TheGents are here so here are @TheGents!
